Children of all ages are welcome. Under 5’s stay for free. Please note no cribs or portable cots are available.

Full payment must be made at least 2 days prior to arrival. Payment must be cleared funds before checking in, either by credit card or bank deposit.

No visitors allowed unless prior arrangement has been approved with the host.

Check in is 3.30pm onwards. Check out is 10am, unless prior arrangement has been made with the host. Please advise an approximate time of arrival in advance.

Self check in: The keypad number and instructions will be sent to you the morning of your arrival.

Maximum number of dogs: 3. $10 per dog / per stay. This covers the extra cleaning costs involved. Owners are responsible at all times to have their dog/s respect the house and furniture. No dogs allowed on the furniture and beds. Dogs must be fully toilet trained and up to date with flea/worm treatments.  All dog poop must be picked up before your departure.  Any damage, stains, extra cleaning caused by the dog/s will be at the owners cost.  Dogs are not to be left unattended.

Verification: Verification of identity is required. On booking, a phone number, email address and proof of identification (eg drivers licence, current passport) will be required to be emailed through. You must be 18 years and over to make a booking and anyone under the age of 18, must be staying with an adult. 

House Rules: All guests must follow

  • No parties, events or disruptive behaviour is permitted. No visitors are allowed.
  • No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes allowed in or outside this property. This is a smoke free property.  No used cigarette butts are to be left in the house rubbish.
  • Quiet hours are between 12.00am and 6am daily.
  • No commercial photography and filming permitted.
  • ALL external doors must be locked on your departure. All windows to be closed.
  • Extra keys/garage door remotes to be left on the kitchen bench on departure.
  • Guests must report to the host if anything has been damaged, broken or misplaced before departing. The guest/s will be responsible for the costs associated with any repairs or replacement/s work carried out by the host.  This includes extra cleaning costs, stains on carpets that require a professional clean, all damage to the interior and exterior of the whole house/property, damage to appliances and furniture, unacceptable damage to linen and any other intentional damage that has occurred during the guest/s stay.
  • All guests must leave the house in a reasonable clean and tidy state on departure. Dirty dishes are to be placed in the dishwasher please.

Cancellation Policy

Guests can cancel up to 5 days before check-in for a full refund. If a payment has been made in this period, a complete refund will be made via bank transfer into your nominated bank account or credit card.

If you cancel after the above period, or during the duration of your stay, you will be charged the full rate of the booking.

Security camera/recording device

Security cameras are installed at the front door, both sides of the garage & the front of the garaging. These are only used for security purposes eg burglary, disruptive behaviour. Please rest assure I respect my guests privacy at all times.

Privacy Policy

We collect personal information from you, including information about your:

  • name
  • contact information
  • interactions with us
  • billing or purchase information

We collect your personal information in order to book your accommodation or answer any enquiries. Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter your contact information, we'll be unable to contact you regarding your booking or enquiry.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at stay@10waimatangi.co.nz.
